Prevention

Because of you, 1881 households were prevented from experiencing the trauma of eviction or the pain of homelessness.

What is Prevention?

Presentation Partners in Housing works to prevent homelessness by targeting households at the most imminent risk of becoming homeless and providing them with the necessary resources they need to stabilize.

Our Perspective

Last year, Presentation Partners in Housing's Homeless Prevention program assisted 1,881 unique households by preventing the loss of housing and connecting them to stabilizing resources so they didn't have to experience the terror and the trauma of eviction and homelessness. It's terrible to imagine not having homeless prevention resources in a community and the impact that would have on the inflow into the homeless response system. The vision and mission of the sisters from so many years ago are still as important now as maybe it ever has been.
